“Yo, that shit is not funny.”
Dream put her hand over her mouth to stop herself from laughing.
“What I do?” she snickered.
“You know exactly what you did and what you didn't do.”
Dream looked him over and his soldier was standing at attention. An idea came to her head and she knew just what to do to fix it.
“I can help you with that, for real this time. Stay right here,” she said before running up the stairs.
Carmelo sat at the table cussing under his breath. He loved having Dream around but she couldn't be play with a nigga’s hormones like that and think it was funny. He heard her bouncing back down the stairs and she came back in the kitchen with her hands behind her back.
“I'm sorry I got you all aroused, so I got you something to help with that,” she said.
“And what would that be?” he asked skeptically.
Dream took her hands from behind her back and handed him a bottle of lotion. Carmelo was confused at first until it hit him. He looked up at her and shook his head as she hit the floor laughing.
“Okay, Ms. Dream. I see you got jokes today. It's all good though, because one day you'll be begging for me to put in on your little ass and Imma remember this little stunt you pulled and make you suffer,” he said.
Suddenly, Dream didn't find her joke to be that funny anymore. She watched as Carmelo and all his sexiness got up from the table and walked away. She felt like she had gone too far and that he would make good on his word of making her suffer.
“Melo, wait. I'm sorry,” Dream said as she ran after him and hugged his waist from the back. “Please forgive me?” she said in a childlike tone.
Melo wore a smirk on his face that she couldn't see. He knew it wouldn't take long before he had Dream right where he wanted her. She was already damn near living in his house, so all that was left to do was officially make her his. But in the meantime, he was going to have some fun with this situation.
“I'll think about it,” he answered.
“Melo,” Dream whined.
Carmelo just shook his head as the two continued to walk up the stairs. He was really happy that he had actually found his Dream. He knew it had to be an act of God for the two of them to just so happen to be eating at the same restaurant on the same day.
Chapter Fourteen
Carmelo and Dream lay in the bed that night cuddled up. Cuddling wasn't really his thing but it was something he could get used to with Dream. Dream laid with her head on Carmelo’s chest while she ran her fingers along his abs.
“Melo.”
“What's up?” he asked.
“What do you want out of this?” Dream inquired.
“What you mean?”
“I mean do you just want someone around to keep you fed, keep the house clean and fuck you whenever you want? Just let me know so I'll know what to expect.”
“Look, Dream. I'm not going to lie to you or string you along. I have never been in nothing serious, I'm used to fucking ‘em and ducking ‘em. I tried out the relationship thing with Christina but she didn't and couldn't keep me interested long enough. But you, you got a nigga doing things he would never do like washing the dishes and shit. Like you make me want to be in something serious, but I know a nigga like me will do something to fuck it up. I be in the street too much and I don't want you to feel like I'm neglecting you,” Carmelo admitted.
“So, if I said that I don't care about you being in the streets just as long as you made some time for me, what would you say? Because I'm willing to give it a try if you are.”
“I don’t have much of anything to do today so how about we watch a movie and eat buttery ass popcorn?” Carmelo suggested
“Sounds like a plan to me. I’m picking the movie. You go get started on that buttery ass popcorn.”
<><><><>
Carmelo and Dream were laying in the couch eating popcorn and watching Poetic Justice, another thing that Melo found himself doing that was out of character. The only time he had ever watched a movie with a female was when Summer forced him to do it.
“Oooh, this is my favorite part!” Dream squealed.
It was the scene where Tupac walked into the salon to give the ladies their mail. Dream sat up in the couch Indian style with her eyes glued to the TV. To Carmelo it looked like she hadn't blinked once.
She cracked up when Tupac or “Lucky” went off on Janet. She looked over at Carmelo and started playing with his ear.
“Come here, Melo. Let me whisper something in your ear.” She smiled.
“Dream, chill out and watch the movie,” he laughed.
“You are no fun.” she fake pouted before returning her attention back to the movie.
They heard footsteps coming down the stairs and Carmelo turned his attention in that direction. Summer was dressed up like she was going somewhere. He looked at his watched and noted that it was after ten o'clock.
“Just where the hell do you think you're going?” he asked.
“A party?” Summer said, more as a question than an answer.
“You didn't ask me if you could go to a party,” he said.
Summer looked over at Dream for some help. Earlier she had asked her to talk to her Uncle Melo and convince him to let her go.
“Dream?” Summer whined.
Dream tuned to Carmelo with a handful of popcorn. “I sort of, kind of, was supposed to ask you if she could go, but it sort of, kind of, slipped my mind,” she said before putting the popcorn in her mouth.
“So you couldn't ask me yourself? You ask for anything else,” he said.
“Baby, why you tripping?” Dream spoke up before Summer could. “You know Summer is very responsible and won't do anything that you don't or won't approve of. Besides, how many parties did you go to when you were her age?”
“Oh wow, is this how it's going to be from now on? You two double teaming me?” He shook his head.
“You know us girls gotta stick together, so just go ahead and tell her she can go,” Dream said.
He looked from Dream to Summer and groaned. He was always letting these two swindle him. They knew he wouldn't tell either of them no, so they were using that to their advantage.
“I want you home by 12,” he said.
“Uncle Melo?” Summer whined.
“Be here no later than one, Summer. Don’t mess up because he might not let you go anywhere else, but I have faith in you,” Dream said.
“Thank you, thank you,” Summer said excitedly as she hugged Dream and her uncle.
“Now get out of here before he changes his mind,” Dream laughed.
Summer wasted no time getting out of the house. Dream looked over at Carmelo, who wore a funny look on his face.
“I overstepped my bounds?” she asked nervously.
“Nah, it's not you. I'm just not feeling my baby girl going to parties and shit,” he said.
“Aww, Melo, but you have to remember that Summer was raised right, so that alone should let you know you can trust her,” Dream said.
“I trust Sum, no doubt about it. I don't trust these little nappy headed niggas though. I was sixteen once, so I know what be going through they heads.”
Dream scooted closer to him and kissed his lips. “Do you know what's going through my head right now?” she asked.
“Yea,” he answered.
“Tell me.”
“You want me to fuck you senseless right here on this couch.” He licked his lips.
Dream blushed. “I was actually going to say I need a refill of popcorn,” she said as she held up the empty bowl.
He snatched the bowl from her and put it on the floor. “Fuck that popcorn!” he growled as he put all of his weight on her and made her fall backwards on the couch.
“Boy, stop,” Dream laughed as he bit and sucked on her neck.
He put his hands up her shirt and pushed her bra up and started playing with her nipples, while the other hand was down in her shorts, playing with her
clit. Dream’s mouth formed into the letter ‘o’ from the sensation he was giving her.
“Tell me you want it,” he demanded as he kissed down her body.
“I want it,” Dream said just above a whisper.
Carmelo paused and looked up at her. “I don't think I heard you. What did you say?”
“I want it. Now stop playing with me, Carmelo Love.”
“Aren't we a little feisty?” he joked.
The two finished getting undressed and Carmelo climbed down her body to taste her but Dream stopped him. He looked up at her confused.
“Fuck all that, just put it in,” she said sternly.
Carmelo just smiled as he climbed back up her body and pushed her legs back. He inserted a finger in her and, just like he already knew, she was dripping wet. He placed his dick at her opening and slid in a little before pulling out. He did that two more times before Dream went off on him.
“What the fuck are you doing? Carmelo, you better stop playing with me,” she yelled.
He knew she was serious because she never cussed. He just looked at her with a smirk before he continued doing what he was doing.
“Remember that one time you made me hard as fuck, just to leave me hanging? And then you went upstairs and grabbed some lotion like it was a joke?” he asked.
Dream closed her eyes and didn't answer. She had almost forgotten about that day.
“But Melo…”
“But Melo, my ass. You remember what I told you that day?” He smirked as he slid in a little then pulled back out.
“Please, Melo. I'm sorry. I already apologized for that,” she whined.
Dream wanted to get up and punch his sexy but cocky ass dead in the face. Out of all the times he could have brought that up, he would chose now to do so.
Figuring she’d had enough, he rammed into her and pumped away as she let out a loud moan. He would speed up then slow down, then speed up again. He pushed her legs back further so he could go in deeper.
“Shit, Melo!” Dream yelled.
She put her arm on him to slow him down or stop him, but he slapped her hand away. “Move that shit. You wanted it, so now you got it.”
“I hate you!” she said.
“You what?” he asked as he pulled out, and flipped her over.
“I love you,” she moaned as he entered her from the back.
“You love me, Dream?” he asked as he slapped her on the ass.
“Yes…yes,” she said as she threw it back on him.
He grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled her head back lightly. “Then prove it,” he whispered in her ear.
Dream went buck wild. She gave just as good as she was getting. She was throwing it back at him hard, slapping her ass into his pelvis. Melo felt her pussy muscles tighten up and he knew then that she was about to cum. A few pumps later, he felt her juices trickling down. The warm sensation sent him over the edge. He bit his lip as he tried to hold back his nut.
Dream looked back at him and knew exactly what he was trying to do. She wanted him to bust so she gripped him with her pussy muscles, then let go and gripped him again.
“Yo, cut that shit out!” he said.
Ignoring him, Dream continued her little act until she heard him cuss and felt his hot semen in her cave. He fell on top of her and they both rolled off the couch.
“Even though your little ass is hardheaded as fuck, that was the shit,” Carmelo said, out of breath.
“I agree. I got mines and you got yours, so we’re both satisfied,” Dream said before kissing his chest.
“Let's get up and get cleaned before we fall asleep and then Summer walk in here and be traumatized,” Carmelo laughed as he got up and scooped Dream up in his arms. He carried her upstairs to the master bedroom.

Dream had to make a run early in the morning for her boutique, so Summer did the honor of fixing breakfast. Summer loved the fact that she was spending a lot of time at her uncle’s house, especially since Alexandria thought it was cool for her to just pop up on the scene after sixteen years. She knew Alex wasn’t dumb enough to come over her Uncle Melo’s, so that’s where she spent all of her time. Her dad and Alex had another thing coming if they thought that the three of them were going to be a happy family.
“Uncle Melo!” Summer called out as she finished fixing the plates.
“I’m coming, I’m coming,” Carmelo said as he walked into the kitchen.
He sat at the table and as Summer placed his plate in front of him. Carmelo smiled brightly. He loved the fact that the two women in his life had no problems taking care of him just as much as he took care of them. He loved having Dream and Summer under the same roof with him. That was the way it was supposed to be.
“You know what today is, right, Uncle Melo?”
“I’ll never be able to forget or I might get my ass whooped,” Carmelo half-joked.
Today was Carmelo’s mother’s birthday. Besides Summer, and now Dream, his mother was his world. Every year they do a big dinner at her house because she always said that the only thing she wanted was all of her family in the same place.
“So…” Summer said.
Carmelo know she was either going to ask for something or make a suggestion.
“Spit it out, Sum,” he said before popping a piece of bacon in his mouth.
“You and Dream have been going steady lately. So are we taking her with us?” Summer asked, hoping her uncle would say yes.
“Why wouldn’t I?”
Carmelo had already made up in his mind that he was going to introduce Dream to his mom just so everyone would know how serious he was about this. Carmelo had never brought a female around his family, and definitely had never introduced one to his mother. He always said that he would never introduce a female to his mother unless he planned on making that woman his wife.
“You know, Uncle Melo, I’m happy that you found Dream. I’ve never seen you so happy in my life. Not saying that you were walking around depressed or anything, but you’ve changed since she’s been in the picture.” Summer said.
“You think so? I’m happy I met her, too,” he smiled.
“Yes, she’s making an honest man out of you. She’s the exact woman I told you that you needed. I don’t know what you thought you were doing with that Chrissy thing,” Summer said like she had a bad taste in her mouth.
“Yo, Sum, chill,” Carmelo laughed.
Dream walked in the kitchen and smiled at the duo.
“What y’all laughing at?” Dream asked as she kissed Summer on the cheek then Carmelo on the lips.
“The disaster Uncle Melo was with before you,” Summer said.
“Oh Lord, don’t even get me started.” Dream shook her head.
“Anyways,” Carmelo said as he got up from the table. “I’m about to go get dressed so we can get our day started.
“Where we going?” Dream asked.
“It’s a surprise,” Summer and Carmelo said at the same time.
<><><><>
Carmelo pulled up to his mother’s house anxious for her to meet Dream. He had no doubts that she would love her because Dream was a good woman. He couldn’t wait to see the look on her face when he walked through the door with Dream on his arm.
“This house is beautiful,” Dream said as they got out of the car.
“Thank you,” Carmelo said, as if it was his house.
He used his key to walk through the door and headed to the back of the house to find the rest of his family. He instantly got pissed when he saw someone that didn’t belong in his mother’s house. He was wondering what the hell Alexandria was doing here. Everyone was laughing and talking, but everything stopped once they noticed Summer and Carmelo walk in and saw that they weren’t alone.
By passing everyone else, Carmelo walked Dream to the kitchen were his mother was.
“Ma,” Carmelo said to get her attention.
Carmelo’s mom stopped doing what she was doing and looked at her son th
en at the beautiful woman that was with him. Her prayers had finally been answered, her son was settling down. Sheila Love was in awe. The woman standing before her was beautiful.
“Mom, this is my girlfriend Dream. Dream, this is my mom.”
Dream extended her hand for a handshake and Sheila waved her off.
“Chile, you better give me a hug,” she said as she took Dream into her arms. She winked at Carmelo, letting him know that he had did a good job.
“Nice to meet you, Mrs. Love, and happy birthday,” Dream smiled.
“Thank you, you too, honey. I’ve never been introduced to any female by Carmelo, so I know you must be something special. But Mrs. Love was my mother-in-law. Call me Mom or Mama Love like everyone else.”
“Okay, do you need some help in here?” Dream asked.
“You cook, girl?” Mama Love asked.
“Yes ma’am. Your son over here keeps me in the kitchen,” Dream laughed.
“Aye, I gotta eat to live,” Carmelo smiled.
Before anyone could say anything else, they heard a loud voice coming towards the kitchen.
“Mama Love, where you at, birthday girl?” Shaq yelled.
Dream turned and noticed a look come over Carmelo that she had only seen once, and that was when he killed Brock. Whoever the voice belonged to, she knew Carmelo didn’t want them there. She walked closer to him and wrapped her arms around his waist to help him keep his cool. Shaq walked into the kitchen and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Dream.
“Damn,” he said.
Dream felt Carmelo tense up. Mama Love hit Shaq on his arm, signaling for him to watch his mouth in her house.
“What’s up, Melo?” Shaq smirked. “Introduce me?”
“Go to hell,” Carmelo huffed.
To erase the tension, Dream extended her hand to Shaq.
“Dream,” she said simply.
Shaq took her hand in his, holding it a little longer than he should have. “Shaq.”
Dream could feel Carmelo’s heartbeat speed up and she looked up at him. If looks could kill, this Shaq person would have dropped dead on the spot. She stood on her tippy toes to whisper in his ear.
“Can we go somewhere and talk?”
